Finezjo: What It Covers, What It Misses

Finezjo is a free app from the Polish Chamber of Physiotherapists. What does it include and which practice documents must you prepare outside it? 2026.
Finezjo is a free app from the Polish Chamber of Physiotherapists (Krajowa Izba Fizjoterapeutów, KIF). According to the vendor's website, more than half of the physiotherapy practices in Poland use it. That is the service's own claim, not an independent measurement, but it shows the scale: a large share of our readers work in Finezjo. If you have it or are thinking about it, the question is whether it is enough.
Note: we are not affiliated with Finezjo or the Polish Chamber of Physiotherapists, and we sell document packages for practices, so we have an interest in this topic. This description is based on the finezjo.pl pages as of 3 November 2026. Some features are available only after logging in, and we do not assess that part.
In brief
- Finezjo has two plans, an individual practice and a healthcare entity, both at PLN 0. The website states unlimited SMS and unlimited users.
- The app keeps an examination record, a calendar, a patient record and reports. It is a tool for visits and patient documentation.
- On the pages we checked, there is no description of ready-made organizational regulations, a hygiene plan, a guide to RPWDL registration or practice data protection documents.
- The price list mentions a "database of ready-made templates to download", but the website does not say what it contains. You can check it after logging in, and below we show how.
- Patient data in the app: read the terms and check on what basis the data is processed (Article 28 GDPR).
What Finezjo offers
According to finezjo.pl and its price list:
- Two plans, both at PLN 0: individual practice and healthcare entity.
- Examination record with an ICD-9 and ICD-10 catalogue, an ICF dictionary, a database of several dozen functioning tests, a test builder and interactive anatomical models. The price list also mentions records for another specialist and a pediatric record, as well as a change history.
- Calendar with day, week and practice views, a list of visits, and a patient record with the visit history and reports.
- SMS appointment reminders: unlimited according to the price list. Some SMS features, for example cancelling appointments by the patient in a reply message, are marked "coming soon" on the website.
- For entities: work schedule, a split of hours into commercial and NFZ (National Health Fund), management of employees, roles and permissions.
- Integrations: the price list mentions Google Calendar, Znajdź Fizjoterapeutę (a physiotherapist finder) and the P1 platform.
- A database of ready-made templates to download and the option to add your own templates. We did not establish which of the two plans includes these items.
- Vendor declarations: compliance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Health and the Polish Chamber of Physiotherapists, data encryption, regular backups, GDPR compliance. If the business is closed, the data is to be kept by KIF.
PLN 0 is a lot. If you are comparing programs, see the comparison of free plans.
What follows from this
Finezjo is a tool for running visits and patient documentation. It does that well. It is not, however, a set of documents that describe the practice itself. We explain the difference in the article Is records software enough for a practice?
What the Finezjo website does not describe
On the pages we checked, there is no mention of ready-made:
- organizational regulations of the practice,
- hygiene plan, disinfection log and sanitary procedures,
- guide to registration in RPWDL (the Register of Entities Performing Medical Activity),
- practice data protection documents (policy, record of processing activities, staff authorizations).
The only item that touches on documents is the "database of ready-made templates to download". The website does not say which templates it contains. You can only check this after logging in, so we describe how to do it.
How to check the template database yourself
- Log in to Finezjo and open the template database.
- Go through the list below and mark what is there.
- Prepare what is missing outside the program.
| Document | In the Finezjo database? | Where to look outside the program |
|---|---|---|
| Treatment consent | check | TARCZA |
| Therapy plan, treatment log | check | TARCZA |
| Authorization to information and records (third parties) | check | Outside the packages, described in the article authorization for access to medical records |
| Request for access to records | check | Outside the packages, described in the article request for access to medical records |
| Organizational regulations of the practice | check | FUNDAMENT |
| Hygiene plan, disinfection log | check | FUNDAMENT |
| Privacy policy, record of processing activities | check | PREMIUM |
| Data processing agreement with the software vendor | check | PREMIUM |
| Procedure for a software failure | check | Outside the packages, described in the article EDM failure |
If you already have the treatment consent, therapy plan and treatment log in the database, do not buy duplicates. The TARCZA templates are then useful as a checklist for comparing fields or as a printable version, for example for home visits.
Patient data in Finezjo: what to ask
You enter patients' health data into the app, so it is worth knowing on what terms it is processed. The privacy policy on finezjo.pl names the Polish Chamber of Physiotherapists as the controller of the service's data and, in what we read, does not describe a data processing agreement for patient data. We do not know whether that document covers patient data, so also read the app's terms after logging in and check:
- who is the controller and who is the processor with regard to the patient data you enter,
- whether there is a data processing agreement or another basis for processing described in the terms,
- what happens to the data after you close the account or the business.
Article 28(3) GDPR requires processing on your behalf to be based on a contract or another legal instrument. If you find such a document, add the vendor to your record of processing activities. The full list of questions for any vendor is in the article 10 questions for a software vendor.
Finezjo and FizjoReady together
The simplest division of work:
- Finezjo keeps the calendar, patient records and reminders.
- Practice documents (regulations, hygiene, data protection, failure procedure) you prepare outside the program.
- The record and treatment consent template from TARCZA you treat as a reference to compare with the templates in the program. Finezjo lets you add your own templates, so check what format it accepts.
Using Finezjo? FizjoReady gives you the documents the program does not describe. Regulations, Sanepid procedures and documents for RPWDL registration as Word files (the FUNDAMENT package), and GDPR documents, including a data processing agreement template (the PREMIUM package). See the FUNDAMENT package or compare all packages.
Frequently asked questions
Does Finezjo replace the organizational regulations of a practice?
No. There is no description of ready-made regulations on the Finezjo pages. The organizational regulations are set by the practice itself and describe its own organization of work (Articles 23 and 24 of the Act on Medical Activity, with a different scope for a healthcare entity and a professional practice). If you find such a document in the template database, treat it as a starting point and adapt it to your practice.
Is Finezjo GDPR-compliant?
The vendor declares GDPR compliance. That concerns the app itself. The controller's documents in your practice, such as the privacy policy or the record of processing activities, you prepare separately.
Can I use FizjoReady templates together with Finezjo?
Yes. They are Word files. You can use them as a checklist when setting up templates, print them for home visits or, if the app allows it, add them as your own templates.
Is FizjoReady affiliated with Finezjo or KIF?
No. We are an independent service with document packages for practices.
Legal status as of: 3 November 2026
Legal basis: Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Article 28(3); Act of 15 April 2011 on Medical Activity (consolidated text Journal of Laws 2026 item 156), Articles 23 and 24. The description of Finezjo comes from the finezjo.pl pages as of 3 November 2026 (home page, price list, privacy policy) and is not a legal assessment of the app. We did not check: the contents of the template database or the app's terms available after logging in, the rules for processing patient data by the Polish Chamber of Physiotherapists, or which features belong to which of the two plans.
